Saturday, October 24, 2009 - Bach With A Twist "Bach with a Twist" Quartet featuring well-known jazz musicians, (Mark Thompson, clarinet; Ch. Cozens, piano; Bob Mills, bass and Lance Elbeck, violin). Their programme follows the through line from Bach to Brubeck and back. Spiced with humour and virtuoso playing, the evening may well prove that Bach would have been a jazz maestro had he been alive today. He is one of Canada's best-known and most sought-after chamber musicians. Mr. Kinton is a founding member of ARC (Artists of the Royal Conservatory), the resident chamber ensemble of The Glenn Gould School.
