AGM/Business Recognition Awards

The Blue Mountains Chamber of Commerce Annual General Meeting and Business Recognition Awards will be held on February 29, 2012 at the Westin Trillium House from 6 - 11 pm. The keynote speaker is Dan Needles.

Nomination Deadline: January 31, 2012

Eligibility: Any business operating in the Town of the Blue Mountains.

Nomination Process: To nominate a business, please send an email to info@bluemountainschamber.ca with "Nomination" in the subject line. In the body of the email, please indicate the name of the Business you are nominating, the Award to which you are nominating it, a brief description of the reason why the business deserves special recognition, and any disclosure needed of your relationship to the principals of the business.
Nominations can be made by any member of the public.

Award categories:

Special Merit Awards
May be presented to a business or a non-profit organization or individual that has had a special or unique impact on the community.

Entrepreneur of the Year
Presented to a business owner, new or existing, who in the last 12 months has developed their business to meet changing community and consumer demands. They will have provided a high level of business service, a product or service needed in The Blue Mountains, as well as being involved in the community.

Carol Kordts Customer Service Excellence
Will recognize a local business, its management, and staff for successfully demonstrating quality customer service. An organization that is appreciated for its helpful and efficient service, dedicated to customer satisfaction and willing to go the extra mile.

Site Enhancement
Presented to existing businesses that have significantly improved the landscaping and/or facade of the business premises.

Business of the Year
The Business has shown outstanding achievement in growth, innovation, leadership, and has had a positive impact on the community through good business citizenship.
