20th Annual Thornbury Winter Antiques Show

The 20th Annual Thornbury Winter Antique Show takes place in the Beaver Valley Community Centre, 81 Victoria St. in downtown Thornbury. Located just two blocks west of the main stoplights turn south at the corner of Victoria St. and Hwy. #26. This winter's antiques show starts on Saturday, March 13, 2010 running from 10am to 5pm and continues on Sunday, March 14 from 10am to 4pm. Admission is $5.00 with children twelve years and under free. The show features twenty-six professional antiques dealers from across Ontario presenting for sale a wide variety of authentic antiques and collectibles including exquisite antique and Victorian jewellery, pressed glass and goblets, pottery and porcelain items, dolls and toys, clocks, depression glass, silver and silverplate, bronze figurines, country pine and oak furniture together with more sophisticated styles of furnishings. You will also find art glass, vintage hooked rugs and quilts, linens, antiquarian and collectible books, early lamps and lighting, lots of country décor and primitives plus a wonderful selection of 20th century Canadian fine art by known and listed artists . . . and so much more. This long running antiques show is known as "southern Georgian Bay's premier winter antiques event" and . . . one not to be missed!
