CIP Public Meeting No 1 – VISIONING WORKSHOP
The first part of this Meeting will be an Open House, commencing at 6:30 p.m. where the public can view the work done on this project to date and speak with members of the consulting team. At 7:00pm there will be a Presentation by the consultants on existing conditions and key impediments to and opportunities for revitalization of the downtown areas. The presentation will be followed by a Visioning Workshop where attendees will break out into smaller groups to explore and develop a community vision and ideas for improvement of the three downtown areas. Thornbury, Clarksburg and Craigleith. All business and property owners in the downtown areas as well as the public are invited to attend.

Posted: Monday, August 23, 2010 During the Canadian Tourism Commission conference “GoMedia” in Toronto this week OTMPC (Ontario Tourism Marketing Partnership Corp) featured the Blue Mountains Apple Pie Trail at a reception in Toronto's Historic Distillery District. Over 400 delegates were in attendance, of which half represent local and international travel journalists.

Posted: Tuesday, March 30, 2010 The lectures are held at the Beaver Valley Community Centre from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. and the cost is $7 per lecture or $10 per couple. Youth aged 18 and under pay $4 and a year pass is available for $65. Museum members receive a 10 per cent discount.
