ECONOMIC PROSPERITY FOR THE BLUE MOUNTAINS
Tuesday, December 8, 6:30-8:30 pm at the Beaver Valley Community Centre.
The Blue Mountains is a rapidly growing community with a spectacular, four-seasons tourism industry and strong agricultural and rural heritage. To ensure a strong economy into the future, we are developing an Economic Development Strategy that is guided by a 50-year Vision, Goals, Strategies and Actions for our Town. The Strategy will guide the Town toward economic success, and will be built on community values, our natural environment, a viable agricultural industry and will respect our cultural history.
You are invited to a workshop to discuss your ideas on how to strengthen the Town’s economy into the future. We’ll discuss:
- What types of jobs and businesses do we need?
- What opportunities are available for our area?
- How can we promote local food and agriculture?
- What are the issues our community is facing today?
Everyone invited to attend. Email the chamber if you would like a copy of the survey.
