Gardening Tips

 

• Apply up to 2 inches of Biologically Active Compost on top of your garden soil in the spring and fall.

• Cover compost with plant appropriate mulch (ie: grass clippings for annual and vegetable beds and wood chips or brown leaves for perennial beds).

• Inoculate your compost pile withBiologically Active Compost to increase diversity of beneficial organisms and speed up the composting process.

• Use Biologically Active Compost to top dress potted plants, germinate seeds, as a potting soil and when planting.

REMEMBER that chemical fertilizers, pesticides, fungicides, herbicides, other pollutants and over-tilling kill off entire members of the soilfood web community.
